Zero Waste Market

Connecting community through plastic-free living – from a safe distance.

An all-day market and showcase produced by Plastic-Free YYC and Springboard Performance. The goal: to raise awareness of our growing plastic problem and promote a zero-waste lifestyle.

Join us, interact with organisations and businesses in Calgary who promote zero-waste living and sustainability. Get to know local zero-waste vendors offering various sustainable products at the market. Learn from non-profit organisations sharing interactive exhibits focused on raising awareness and enacting sustainable social change.

The safety of all of our exhibitors and attendees is very important to us. Market attendance has been limited to a 30-min window for all participants. There are a maximum amount of entries to each time slot. Register and book your preferred time slot today.

Zero Waste Meetups (Virtual)

Zero-Waste Meet-ups are casual gatherings Plastic-Free YYC hosts regularly to bring together like-minded, compassionate, and curious Calgarians. A fun forum to learn about ZW goals, challenges and ideas to help each other strive for a little less waste.

“Tapped” Documentary Screening and Discussion POSTPONED

Join Plastic-Free YYC at The Apothecary in Inglewood on Tuesday, March 24th for a special screening of “Tapped”, a documentary focusing on the high cost — to both the environment and our health — of bottled water. The screening will be followed by an interactive discussion with a panel of experts.
